4 Days Amboseli & Tsavo West Safari
Big elephant herds beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, then the rugged volcanic landscapes and springs of Tsavo West.
The Maasai Mara is the crown jewel of Kenyan safaris, and three days is the perfect introduction. You'll leave Nairobi in a pop-top 4x4, descend the Great Rift Valley and spend two unhurried days searching the plains for lion prides, elephant herds and — in season — the thunder of the wildebeest migration.
Every detail is handled by AMSIR: park fees, transfers, your driver-guide and your tented camp or lodge, so you can simply look up from the viewfinder and enjoy it.
After an early pick-up in Nairobi we drive west, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos. We arrive at your camp in time for lunch, then set out on an afternoon game drive as the light turns golden and the predators start to stir.
A full day with your guide tracking the reserve's residents — lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and huge herds of plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush or return to camp to rest. Optional extras: sunrise hot-air balloon flight or a cultural visit to a Maasai village.
One last sunrise game drive before breakfast, then the road back to Nairobi, arriving mid-afternoon in time for onward flights or a drop at your hotel.
