3 Days Maasai Mara Safari
Kenya's most famous reserve in a short, well-paced getaway: big-cat game drives, vast open plains and a sundowner on the savannah.
Two of Kenya's most scenic parks in four days. Amboseli is famed for its enormous elephant herds and the snow-capped silhouette of Africa's tallest mountain; Tsavo West adds wild, dramatic terrain, crystal-clear springs and black lava fields.
It is a wonderful choice for first-time safari-goers who want variety without long days on the road.
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive south to Amboseli. After lunch at your lodge we head out for an afternoon game drive across the swamps and dusty plains where elephants wade at sunset.
Rise early for the best chance of a clear view of Kilimanjaro, then explore the park with your guide. Observation Hill gives a sweeping view over the swamps. Return for a leisurely lunch and a second game drive in the late afternoon.
A morning game drive and then on to Tsavo West. Visit Mzima Springs, where hippo and crocodile watch from crystal-clear pools, and the Shetani lava flow before reaching your lodge.
A final early game drive, breakfast, then the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
